People are seeking solutions for creating a more just and peaceful world. We invite you to learn about "Permaculture," an ethics-based, ecological design process for living cooperatively and sustainably on Earth. In 1999, the San Diego Economic Conversion Council adopted permaculture as a comprehensive strategy for converting our military-based economy to a sustainable peace-based economy. Ultimately, we believe peace through permaculture is a better strategy than our current one of "peace through military strength."
We are offering "Introduction to Permaculture" workshops. We're asking for your help to spread this practical message of hope. We're looking for people willing to host a presentation for a small group in their home, church, or community center. Ideally, the audience will come from your circle of friends and associates, but we will also contact our members in your geographic region who may want to participate or co-host the event. We'll provide the speaker.
If you can host a presentation, please call us at (619) 255-6111. Contributions to support this educational project are greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to SDECC and mail to: SDECC, 4452 Park Blvd. Suite 209, San Diego, CA 92116.
